From award-winning artisan label Guerra Albano comes this stunning varietal blend, crafted from Merlot and two little-known native grapes of Friuli - Refosco and Pignolo, all grown in the municipality of Torreano di Cividale (UD).
Deep red in colour with red fruit on the nose that follows on to earthy notes of coffee, leather and spice on the palate. Well balanced with firm tannins and refreshing acidity. Ideal for pairing with beef dishes, grilled meats, aged cheeses, pasta with truffles or mushrooms and casseroles. Allow the bottle to aerate for two hours in a decanter before serving.
