The fruit for Tertini's Tasmanian Pinot Noir comes from the pristine environment and rich, ancient soils of the Coal River Valley, just north of Hobart. With long, sun-filled days, low rainfall and cool breezes from the Tasman Sea, Tertini's Marengo Farm provides ideal growing conditions for premium cool climate wines.
The 2021 Pinot Noir vintage in Southern Tasmania was very high in quality with excellent flavour and acidity. Vibrant aromas of red and black cherries weave through a complex array of red fruits and spice. Fine tannins and a clean acid line provide length on the finish.
Tertini's 2018 Tasmanian Pinot Noir won the Trophy for 'Best Pinot Noir' in the 2019 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge.
